Antariksha Sanchar - Vocalist Automaton

A concept and illustration created for the game Antariksha Sanchar. The Vocalist Automaton has two states — meditative and singing — triggered when the player solves a puzzle. What makes this one unique is that the transformation is also a gender shift; when the male form appears, the female form disappears, and vice versa. Two halves of the same machine.

The design challenge was making both forms feel like they belong to the same Automaton while being visually distinct from each other. The shift from stillness to song had to read clearly as a physical transformation, not just a change in lighting or expression.
