A concept and illustration created for the game Antariksha Sanchar. This Automaton takes the form of a multi-armed mechanical deity, seated in a classical idol-like pose with an ornate chakra halo behind her.
She plays a Veena — but here the instrument itself is replaced by a Yali, a mythical creature from Indian temple iconography, whose body becomes the instrument she plucks. The glowing strings add a sense of energy and life to what is otherwise a cold, stone-like mechanical form — deliberately so, as the design leans more machine than deity, despite the divine appearance.
